Presley licious is One Month!

Presley is up from a birth weight of 5.9 to 7.3 lbs! She's a growing girl! Here are a few pics of my angel. I'm working on getting her birth story written, but there's just so much I want to say, I can't do it in all one sitting! Presley just recently learned she has a voice, and boy o' boy does she use it! She's still very easy going, but knows how to let us know when she needs something! She's still in preemie/newborn clothes, and I'm looking forward to getting her up to 0-3 mo b/c I have so many cute things for her to wear! Life is blissdom, sleep deprived and all. Only concern is that she doesn't poop very often. 7-8 times total in her whole life. I've called the Dr's office many times, and made a couple extra visits. They assure me that she's fine, but if she doesn't poop by day 8 this time (Monday), then we are going to get an xray and possibly a barium enema to rule out Hirschsprungs's disease. Prayers needed! I don't think that's her problem, I think she's just using up all her calories to grow and grow, but it's a little nerve racking for sure.

My pictures may not be great, but at least I look the part!

When discussing the new babe's homecoming, Zack and I were having a hard time wrapping our head around all the pictures we wanted of her, and the incredible expense of having them done. In comes my great friend, Lilly, who graciously lent me her Canon Rebel! I got some pretty good shots of sweet Presley, and felt like I could run with it. Zack decided to invest in a camera instead of the professional photographer, and boy am I glad we did!! It's been soo much fun experimenting with it! I haven't gotten out the manual yet, but I will. Until then, it's just me and my attempts. I'll look back one day and cringe at my skills, but I that's okay..you live and you learn. Right? Without much further ado, here are a few of my shots!

Catching up-We had a baby!

I guess you could say that a lot has happened since we last spoke. I really need to get caught up! I'll start with going straight for the goods...pictures! I may even get a wild hair and decide to attempt the birth story, but it was so full of surprises, that I'm still a little reeling from it all! Our peanut will be one month tomorrow, and I've got so much to say! For now, I'll leave (bombard) you with pictures of our special day!
